About Jax Stuart
Jax Stuart is a Scottish born author with a love of the paranormal, addiction to manga and K-pop, especially Stray Kids, and a very long TBR. She started writing her first book at age eleven, but gave writing up for years. A big birthday prompted her to finally go after that publishing dream. When she isn’t writing, Jax is an avid reader and likes to spend time with friends and family.

I never know what to say in these things! A couple of years ago, needing to have a website for my books was a pipe dream. For a while, I had a blog type site that didn’t send anyone anywhere! I was so unprepared. So, how did I get here?
I’ve always loved books. They have been my escape since I was 4 years old and got my first library card. Growing up, I didn’t have a lot of friends and was bullied a lot, so it’s no surprise I spent a lot of time in the library. Eventually, I began to write my own stories. When I started high school, just turned 12 (I live in Scotland), I was encouraged to show my work to my English teacher, Mr. Glass. He told me to keep writing. Though I gave that book up, and the ones that followed later, I never forgot having someone believe in me. Which is why my first book is dedicated to Mr. Glass.
I never stopped reading, though. Somehow I fell into ARC reading and ended up on many teams for Why Choose authors. Then I found myself beta and then alpha reading for a number of WC authors. Around the same time, I was moving more into reading MM fiction, ARC reading for MM authors, beta and alpha reading too.
Then the plot bunnies started. I was getting close to my 40th birthday and thought, “what the hell!” and just went for it. Initially, my first book was going to be a paranormal romance called The Mage’s Covenant. I still have several chapters on my hard drive. Then I saw the premade cover for So Worth More. Andy and Will were the plot bunny that came from the cover. The Second Chances series is special to me because it was my first, but at present, plans to finish it have been shelved.
His Reluctant Omega Mate is precious to me. It saved my love of writing, made me feel like a real writer and cemented my love of PNR. The Sweetwater Pack series is now a 6 book series with a Christmas themed standalone, His Santa Alpha, and a 3 book spin off series, The Northarbor Coven.
